LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (July 10, 2014) – Cyber Dust, the disappearing chat messenger owned by entrepreneur Mark Cuban and created by Mention Mobile, announced today that it has partnered with racecar driver Shannon McIntosh to engage with her fans in a new and innovative way.

McIntosh is no newbie to modern tech or the social media scene. She was named by Mashable as a “Top-Five Must-Follow Athlete on Social Media” and scored her first professional sponsorship via Twitter in 2010. McIntosh will utilize Cyber Dust for personal Q&A’s, giveaways and a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at her racing life.

“Social media and new-age technology have been my go-to tools for not only engaging with fans on a personal level, but also opening doors to further my career. It has given me the opportunity to keep my fans in the loop with what’s going on and to show who I am both on and off the track,” said McIntosh. “It only made sense for me to approach Mark on his new app because I knew how powerful it could be with my fan base, and I really saw a win-win for both of us.”

Cuban has been using Cyber Dust himself to allow budding entrepreneurs to give elevator pitches and to keep his friends in the know on the Dallas Mavericks, his NBA basketball team.

“I appreciate hard workers who truly have the will to win,” Said Cuban. “Shannon’s persistence in updating me and her fans on her racing career through Cyber Dust caught my attention. She will be an excellent ambassador for Cyber Dust as she pursues her NASCAR career”

Built to reduce a users digital footprint, Cyber Dust messages disappear within seconds of being read and never hit a hard drive, assuring privacy and security. The Cyber Dust Blast feature has also proven to be an excellent tool for celebrities, athletes, and businesses to send compelling content to loyal followers. Further, the Blast feature allows fans to privately respond to celebrities on a one to one basis without having to publicly project a response or opinion. This makes Cyber Dust an amazing tool for generating loyalty amongst any fan base.

Shannon will be making her debut in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards on July 25 driving for Penske Racing NASCAR development team Cunningham Motorsports. The race will be broadcast live from Lucas Oil Raceway Park in Indianapolis on Fox Sports 1, at 9 pm Eastern.
